TMAP: Upgrade for high-performance IT delivery

About the course

This training course provides a knowledge upgrade for high-performance IT delivery teams (eg in DevOps and Scrum teams) to people who already have knowledge of and experience with TMAP.

 

What you achieve

In today’s IT world IT teams are expected to deliver business value with the right quality at speed. TMAP® helps you achieve this by working with built-in quality rather that focus on testing.

This course provides a knowledge upgrade within high-performance IT delivery team members (such as DevOps and Scrum teams) who already have knowledge of and experience with TMAP.

This course is based on the book "Quality for DevOps teams" and TMAP knowledge at   www.tmap.net .

 

Course overview

During this graduation course, participants (who already have knowledge of quality engineering at the level of a TMap Suite certificate) get a practical overview of the following QA & test topics:

  • The VOICE model for achieving business value through IT delivery
  • IT delivery models
  • DevOps and continuous quality engineering
  • The whole-team approach, including developers and operations contribution to quality assurance
  • QA & test topics (both organization and execution)
  • Continuous everything and CI / CD pipeline
  • Total costs for quality and test automation
  • Indicators, reporting and alerting
  • Quality goals and skills
  • Test varieties
  • Test design (experience-based testing and coverage-based test design techniques)

Participants get to know the theory and gain experience with practical exercises. There will also be plenty of time to share experiences among all participants.

 

Exam

There is no exam for this course.

 

Target audience

This course is aimed at high-performance IT teams (such as DevOps and Scrum) who already have knowledge of quality engineering at the level of a TMap Suite certificate.

 

Prerequisites

Practical experience with and knowlegde about test and quality assurance equal to TMap Suite Test Engineer or ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst. 

 

Duration

The course is held over 1 day.

 

Language

The teaching is conducted in English and the syllabus is in English.
